Hi I'm Sara Anderson

I'm from South Carolina. I love riding my horse. I'm a Geology major and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the youngest of three girls. I grew up with lots of family around and still consider them my closest friends. I love to work outside, especially on my uncles farm with the animals. I have a horse named Fame and I love spending my free time riding him. I am going to college at BYU-Idaho where I am studying Geology. I love our field trips studying rocks and camping in beautiful places; like the Grand Canyon. I'm about to leave to serve a 18 month mission in Nampa, Idaho. I am very excited to serve!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon but there came a time when I decided to find out if it was true for myself. When I was a teenager I got really sick with pneumonia. It got so bad that I was admitted to the hospital and it scared me. Being sick humbled me and helped me realize that I needed the Savior in my life, which led me to think about more spiritual things. This led to me to ask for myself if The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was the true church. And I can now testify that I know it is. I know with my whole heart that it is the Lord's church. I know that God loves us and that we can live with Him again.

How I live my faith

I have participated in different callings during my membership in the church. I was involved with the youth group where I helped plan different activities. In college, I served as the president in the women's organization in my congregation. For a semester at school, I taught Sunday School in my ward. I'm preparing to serve a mission for the church and I'm excited to share my testimony and continue to serve and learn.
