Hi I'm Randy Trane

I love being a Mormon. I live in the beautiful state of Idaho with my family.

About Me

My wife and I moved to Idaho twenty five years ago to be closer to family and to enjoy the outdoors that scenic Idaho has to offer. We have raised four wonderful children and a friendly dog. Some of my interest are spending time with my wife, children and grandchildren, gardening, playing tennis, fishing and serving other people.

Why I am a Mormon

In old testament times, the prophets led and instructed their people in righteousness. We are so very lucky today to not only have writings(scriptures) from the prophets of old but to have a living prophet today to instruct us about God's plan for us(Plan of Happiness). I testify to the world that there is a living prophet on the earth today that leads Christ's Church. He holds the Priesthood authority that the prophets of old held. It is the same Priesthood that Jesus Christ himself used to heal the sick and bring the dead back to life. I also know that Jesus Christ loves each one of us individually and knows us by name. He suffered in the Garden and died on the cross for us through that great atonement. That atonement has given everyone of us the opportunity to repent of our sins and be forgiven for those mistakes we make in this life. That atonement also gives us the opportunity to be resurrected as he was and be able to return to him after death. This Mormon religion(The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) gives each one of us the knowledge through the power of the Holy Ghost to know that these things are true. That is a source of great comfort and peace for me in these troubled times.

How I live my faith

Much of the joy I have in my life is serving others and working with the youth in the area. I have been the local high school tennis coach for the past six years. It has given me the opportunity to not only help the players improve their tennis skills, it has given me a chance to try and influence their lives for good. I am also involved in my church activities as a Sunday school teacher and one of the leaders of the sixteen to eighteen age young men. My employment as a realtor has given me many opportunities to meet new people. Those relationships have allowed me time to talk with people about why they live in Idaho and what brings meaning to their life.
