Hi I'm Spencer

I grew up in Sandy, Utah. I am going to be serving a mission in California. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love being active! I was a successful high school runner on my school's track and cross country team. I also love playing basketball, going on hikes, golfing, swimming, playing tennis, and just being around my friends and enjoying their company. I also enjoy being with my family and just sitting down and having a long conversation with them. Overall, I love all that life has to offer.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have searched, pondered and prayed about the church. I grew up in the church but in high school I truly started to question if what I was doing was the right thing to do. I strayed off the path that i should have been on and became very sad. I wondered why i was sad and soon realized that I had denied the church from being in my life. I promised myself that i would fix some of the wrong things that I had done and completely turned my life over to Jesus Christ. I promised him that I would do whatever it takes to be happy. I was prompted to read the Book of Mormon because I had never read it all the way through. I read it and prayed about it and learned for myself that it is the most correct book that i have ever read! I felt an overwhelming feeling in my heart that I could not deny. I felt the spirit! :) This made me very happy and i commited my life to the church. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church. I know that Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father are real and that they love us sooooo much! They want the best for us in all that we do! I know that the church is for everyone! If you feel empty and lost in life i know that the good news of the gospel can help. I can't express in words how much I love this church. I know it, I live it, and I love it!! In the sacred name of Jesus Christ. Amen

How I live my faith

I have participated in my ward by being called to a leader over a youth group. I was also a youth so i had the oppurtunity to work with older members in my ward to help run the group. I also have helped out with many service projects such as: cleaning headstones at a cemetary, cleaning the local ward building, caroling at an old folks home, and participating in multiple blood drives to help with a scouting project.
