Hi I'm Bryce

I grew up in Fruitland, Idaho. I love playing basketball and tennis, or just about any sport. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in a large family with five sisters and one brother. I've always enjoyed playing basketball and tennis, although I'm game to play just about any sport. I love waterskiing, camping, and just hanging out with my family. I'm serving a mission in the Winnipeg, Canada area. After I'm done with that, i plan on attending BYU Provo.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel safety when I'm living the gospel. Whenever I sin, and no longer feel the spirit, it makes me feel horrible. I feel like I'm trapped. I ask myself, if I died today, would I be happy with what I've done? However, through repentance you slowly begin to regain the spirit and it feels great. I've gained a testimony through reading the Book of Mormon. It is a great book. Another thing that has strengthened my testimony is reading the account of Joseph Smith seeing Heavenly Father and his son, Jesus Christ. Over the years I have gained my own testimony that I know God lives, and that he loves his. He sent his son to atone for our sins, and through repentance we are able to again become clean. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet and receives modern revelation for our day. I know that Joseph Smith saw Heavenly Father, and his son, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Every month, I go hometeaching with my companion. Sometimes when I go I don't always have the right mindset, and would rather be doing something else. However, every time we finish I'm always glad I went. Hometeaching is just visiting with different families, making sure everything is alright in their lives and seeing if there is anything we can do to help them, we then leave a spiritual thought, close with a prayer, and leave. I also go to mutual every week, where all of the youth get together and do an activity. I'm also in the committee that helps decide what we do for mutual.
