Hi I'm Rachel Ladle

I was born in Utah. I love music. I am going to serve a mission, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am preparing to serve a mission in Colorado. I love to listen to music and sing. I've taught myself to play the piano. I write all the time, such as songs, little stories, books. I love to read and to learn about new things. I love a new adventure, and being outdoors. I've lived in Switzerland for about 6 years of my life. I speak German, and I love learning about new languages and cultures. I love History and hearing stories from the past. I like to be creative and decorate. I love spending time with my family and my friends. I like to challenge myself with new things, and always love getting to know new people.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church. I grew up knowing that I had a testimony and that what I was doing was what was right. I didn't just depend on everyone else to tell me it was true, I sought it out myself. I read the Book of Mormon and prayed to know if it was the word of God. I know it is true. I've had my prayers answered. Since then I've always continued to better myself everyday. No one is perfect, but we all have the chance to do better than we did the day before. I know my Savior, Jesus Christ, really did live and that He died for me, so that I can have the chance to live with my Heavenly Father again someday. I know who I am and where I came from and why I'm here. I am a Daughter of God, and I know that through Him I can do all things. I'm very grateful that I am a member of the church, and that I have this chance to share that happiness I have with other people. I'm proud to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I'm proud to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love helping out wherever I can. I am called in the church as of now to help out with the little kids in nursery on Sundays. Before that I was asked to help out with the Stake Youth Committee and help plan activities that would be fun for the youth to participate in. I love being able to lend a helping hand and love being able to share with others about my faith and what I believe in. I'm glad that I get to help out with community things as well. Cleaning up parks or whatever it may be, it's always fun to see the reward of good hard work, and to share a smile with someone in need.
