Hi I'm McKade

I grew up in Utah of the United States and also lived in Colorado and Wyoming. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have grown up playing sports and loving outdoor activities. Being outdoors in the mountain wilderness is one of the greatest things to do where I live. Hunting, fishing, boating, and spending time with family and friends are generally how the nicer months of my years are spent.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, but that doesn't necessarily mean I didn't have some kind of conversion. Even though I was born in the church, I still had to find out whether or not the things which were being taught were true for myself. Among other things I have come to know and realize, one of the greatest is the absolute freedom this church's teachings give. Others may think we are restricted by the law of chastity, or the word of wisdom; yet if we can obey these laws, I know we will see our happiness grow in line with confidence in our Heavenly Father. If we step back and watch those around us who are not following those laws, we can see the effects of their actions over time, affecting their happiness. Reading the scriptures, saying prayers, and attending church meeting not only help us to learn, but strengthen our resolve to resist the temptation to break these laws. I know obedience to the teachings set forth by the LDS church will only bring good and happiness into the lives of those who choose to live it. We may go through trials or hard times, but as long as we remember and have faith in the teachings, we will prosper and remain happy.

How I live my faith

Currently my only real calling is to prepare for a mission. I regularly participate in weekly activities and always attend Sunday meetings. There are many youth in my area that fall under the title of young adult. Together we participate in many activities, designed to help us interact with people of our faith for wholesome entertainment.
