Hi I'm Jon

I grew up in Garland Utah. I am a Construction worker. I have a beautiful wife and five children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a dad. I love to spend time with my family they bring a lot of joy into my life. I love to go fly fishing with my friends and family. I love watching college football with my family. "Go Cougars" I enjoy serving others. I love watching my kids play sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel of Christ because it allows me to become a better person . It has answered the question who I am why I am here on earth and where I am going after this life. We were all spirit children of are heavenly father and he wanted us to become like him so he presented a plan that would allow us to do that. we would get a body. He gave us agency to choose and by choose what he has asked us to do we can return to live with him again This wouldn't be possible if Christ hadn't came to the earth and lived a perfect live and suffered and died for us. I couldn't imagine my life without the gospel in it. I lost my dad to cancer about 5 years ago. It was hard to see him go through the pain and pass away but because of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the knowledge that I have of Eternal families and the resurrection I know that I will see and be with my dad again. I know that my heavenly father knows me and loves me. I know that Jesus Christ lived a perfect life and that he paid the ultimate price for each of us when he took upon all are sins and transgressions. I know that Christ knows me and he loves me. I now the Bible and the Book of Mormon to be holly scriptures. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon. I know that the book of Mormon is one of the fruit of Joseph Smith. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of god. These are reasons that Im Mormon.

How I live my faith

I serve as a bishop in my ward. what a neat opportunity that has been. I have been able to see people make some great choices in their lives that have helped their testimonies of the savior Jesus Christ grow. We have great members in are ward. I love spending time with the youth of are church. I have the opportunity to teach are youth the gospel. I am amazed of the knowledge they have of the gospel of Christ. I have some great families that I go and visit each month. They are a great strength to me.
