Hi I'm K.J.

I grew up in Utah, I am an activity addict (sports), I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Most of my life has been dominated by sports and overall just working myself to my limits. I had a job all of high school and rarely saw a free Saturday night, which for the most part kept me well grounded from things I didn't need to be exposed to.

Why I am a Mormon

You know, this is a question that does not have a clear cut answer for everyone. There is not ONE reason why EVERYONE who is a Mormon, chose to be such. Everyone has their reasons. Mine is simply because whenever I feel alone, and I open up my heart to the lord and pray about whatever has me down, I always feel his presence when I truly want to. When I feel him most is when I think about my mission I am about to endure on. Two years without any family and friend contact besides words in the form of emails letters and phone calls. He testifies to me through the holy ghost that this is my calling at this point in my life. I am to share this little knowledge I feel I have with people whom I will serve so that they may know that THIS church is true. Yes, the fundamental beliefs of many churches is true, but this church, this church is the whole package. If you accept it, if you truly accept it, you will feel an immediate difference in your heart. You will feel healthier, you will see the world more clearly, you will be able to wade through the treacherous temptations of the devil and loose the chains of addiction and sin through true and earnest repentance. Though it is not easy to do, it is so, so worth it. Through great trials and grief comes the truest joy you will ever know. To know that god is real and he did send his only begotten son, Jesus Christ to give us the greatest gift anyone could ever give. His very breath and blood so that we may live for eternity. This I know, and this is why I AM A MORMON.

How I live my faith

Every morning I wake up and thank the lord through prayer. I let him know how appreciative I am for all I have been given. I do as I'm told and I treat others with respect and even those I do not consider my friends I treat them with respect they deserve because they made the same choice I made before we came to earth. We came to follow gods plan, even those who feel lost can be found. At any time, you can choose to accept your savior and begin to receive the blessings and comfort that come along with that choice.
