Hi I'm Sean

I live in Moab. I love music, chemistry, and soccer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

To be frank, my biggest interest is soccer. I love following the beautiful game, but especially Real Salt Lake and the US Men's National Team.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon family, but it took me many years to discover that I wanted to be a member of this church for myself and not just because of my parents. As I went through the difficult teenage years I often made choices that I would regret. Guilty feelings began to build over time and it was beginning to weigh on me. Then I began to notice a similar theme in The Book of Mormon over and over again: Repent and the atonement of Christ will make you whole. I decided to try it for myself. As I exercised faith in Christ and began to repent, I could feel his love and the forgiveness of God. The guilty feelings went away and I felt like a brand new person. There are many reasons why I have decided to stay a member of this church, but those poignant feelings of my youth were the first steps in my personal conversion.

How I live my faith

I work with the Boy Scouts of America in our community. I regularly instruct the youth and answer any questions they might have about the gospel, soccer, or chemistry. This service often involves camping out over night with a large group of 12-year-olds. They keep me on my toes.
