Hi I'm Brinlee Kay

I grew up in Utah. I'm a Massage Therapist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished college and got my degree in Massage therapy. I went into massage therapy because I love to help people. When someone says something they're in pain I jump at the chance to see what I can do to help. I also love to dance. I did clogging for about eleven years. I don't clog anymore but I wish I could every day. I hope that one day I can get started back up in clogging or even another kind of dance some day.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been learning about this church my whole life. The biggest turning point for me was a very hard thing to deal with but I am grateful for what I have learned from it. This last Christmas I got I phone call that I wish no one ever has to receive. I received word that my father had passed away. At first I couldn't handle anything that was being said. I had just seen him the day before and I had no idea why this had to happen. I was angry with everyone sand everything. Finally the pain was so much for me and my family that I wanted to do anything to help them not hurt as much as they were. I went to a place were I could be alone and got on my knees. I prayed and asked Heavenly Father to take the pain away from my family and I could take it for them. I immediately felt completely comforted. The next day was the funeral services. I knew then that my family was going to be ok and that I would be to. At the funeral services someone that is very close to me was talking to me about the plan of salvation. He talked to me about how I could see my dad again and that my whole family could all be together again in happiness. I will never forget that feeling and I will away do my best so I can return to live with our Heavenly Father and see all my family again.

How I live my faith

In my ward I have been helping with getting the word out to everyone about activities, announcements, appointments, etc. personally I have had so much fun doing this. I have learned that I need to be really organized so that no one ever gets the wrong information. I also visit teach two ladies that I live by. I am very grateful for the opportunity to get to know these girls and to help them with what they need. When we go visiting teaching we share a message and take time to get to know the people we visit.
