Hi I'm Victoria Idell Mendoza

I grew up in Texas and I grew up in the church but never really converted till I was 19.

About Me

I grew up in Texas and was inactive for about 4 years. I was lost and had hit rock bottom in my life. When I realized how happy I used to be as a youth I started going back to church. It was the only constant thing in my life it never changed and always had its doors open (figuratively). I started going back to college and things just seemed stuck, so I moved to Utah away from my old friends and with my Aunt and Uncle who welcomed me with open arms. I changed my life for myself and it was the best decision I've ever made. Now Im going on a mission to share my story with people who want the same happiness I found when I came back to the church with an even stronger testimony than when I left.

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon because when I was inactive I tried going to other churches but I never felt the warmth I had felt as a youth growing up in the church and visiting the temple. I never felt a peace in my heart. When I came back to the church I visited temple square and when I saw the statue of Christ tears just filled my eyes because I felt this warmth throughout my entire body. I knew then that this was right and it changed my life for the better and made me a stronger person.

How I live my faith

I am a primary teacher for ages 6-7 and I love them. They teach me every Sunday how precious life is, to have the innocent mind of a child going about life as an adventure with an open mind to learning is a true blessing.
