Hi I'm Spencer

I grew up in Utah Valley. I started an Ultimate Frisbee team at my school. I am on a mission in Norway. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love all sports except for baseball. I especially like to play Ultimate Frisbee for my school. I like to be in the handler position, so I can control the flow and passes in the game. I love it when you get a really long streak of no drops, but my favorite is marking the handler because of my long arms and competitiveness. There is nothing better than blocking a throw that was going to an open man. I really enjoy reading fantasy novels and Authors like Christopher Paolini, J. K. Rowling, C. S. Lewis, Eoin Colfer, and Rick Riordan. I am going to be going to college at BYU after my mission to Norway. I like to ride dirt bikes and paintball and boating. I also like to play the cello. My favorite cellist is Steven Sharp Nelson. I like Brian Regan and Jim Gaffigan. I like science and I am good at Math. I think that I will major in Chemical Engineering at BYU.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon, because I have a strong testimony that Jesus Christ lived and died for me and for all mankind. I know that he loves us infinitely and without conditions. I also believe that he leads the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints today through his chosen prophet Thomas S. Monson. I believe that Heavenly Father knows us personally and loves us and that he will always answer our prayers on his terms and in his time. I Believe that Christ Atoned for our sins and has reclaimed us from the depths of hell. I believe that he did not have to die for us, but he did out of love for us and his father in heaven. I hope that one day I will return to his presence and be able to feel like I lived my life in a way that My God can be proud of. I try to live my life according to his commandments and I know that he gives us commandments and rules for our eternal happiness.

How I live my faith

I was in the Stake Youth Council; this is where we planned activities and firesides for our stakes youth. I was also on my city's Youth council where I was able to plan and complete service projects for our city and generally help the city in anything that we could do. I like to help wherever I can and be of service to anyone. I am excited to be able to serve the people of Norway on my mission for two years starting in October. I love to visit my home teaching family, because they are wonderful people and inspire me to be better like them.
