Hi I'm Mitchel

I love reading, playing the violin, but most important I love being a Mormon

About Me

I've been serving a mission in the wonderful state of Alabama, roll tide, war eagle, which ever one you prefer. I've played in the orchestra in High school and junior high so I really love music. I've done some snow boarding, no cool tricks, maybe falling down the hill, that might be the coolest trick I can do. Reading as well has become a passion after getting older, and I have learned a lot from reading the scriptures about our Savior, and I am sincerely grateful for the example he has set for us to follow. I wouldn't give up this experience for anything in the world. I really have learned to love the people here in Alabama.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I believe in the Savior Jesus Christ, I know that he is my example and friend. I trust him in by doing what he has commanded me, and know that by doing so it has brought a lot of happiness in my life. I know that we have a prophet on the Earth today, his name is Thomas S. Monson , and that Heavenly Father guides us through him. I also am a Mormon because I believe in the Book of Mormon to be the Word of God, and that it supports everything the Bible teaches us. So I know the Book of Mormon doesn't replace the bible, but it harmoniously testifies of the Savior, and that he is the Son of God, and He is the Savior of the World. I have come to know that it is true, the He lives, and He did suffer for our sins and died for us, I will ever strive to live how he has shown us how to live. To love one another and be obedient. That is what we believe in, and that is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Most importantly is that I try to follow the saviors example, and follow his teachings. I know I am not perfect, so one way I live my faith is repenting when I make mistakes, and going to church to learn how to be a better person. I know that through following through with responsibilities I have had in the church has helped me grow, and keep helping me in my every day life. One I have now is being a missionary. the reason I feel so strongly about sharing our beliefs is that I know that it can help others in every aspect of their lives, so that is one big way I live my faith, and so thankful for the time to serve the Lord.

Are Mormons Christians?

I just want to say that we are Christians, the name of our church is The of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and we truly believe that He is our savior and Redeemer, and that through His atoning sacrifice, we can be cleansed from sin, and live a happy life. Show more Show less
