Hi I'm Jenny

I grew up in Missouri on a farm. I come from a family of 8 kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read novels and go running. I love to watch murder-mystery television shows. I used to teach elementary music, but now I stay home with my two little girls. I love to watch them smile. They are full of energy and keep me busy! I teach private piano lessons and love to watch my students improve their musical abilities.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. As a young teen, I decided to pray for myself to know if the Gospel is true and felt the confirmation of the Holy Spirit witness that it is indeed true. I have felt repeated confirmations of this throughout my life. No matter how difficult things have been in my life, I can always find peace and comfort through prayer and scripture study. This helps give me strength to go on. I feel such comfort knowing that I can have an eternal family through the blessings of the temple. My mother died when I was 23 and I feel peace and look forward to a happy reunion with her in the next life. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior, and because of him, we all have the opportunity to return to live with our Heavenly Father again. Because of Jesus Christ, I can repent and be forgiven of my sins. I know these things to be true with all my heart.

How I live my faith

I try to visit with assigned sisters in our church every month, with another sister as my companion. This helps me to get to know sisters in our church better and be aware of and help meet any small or large needs they might have. I also get to play the piano when we sing hymns and help train music leaders who teach young children music.
