Hi I'm Kate

College student and athlete, math nerd, the favorite aunt, and full-time missionary. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am a college student studying mathematics and running for the track and cross country teams at the University of Utah. I love reading all types of books, eating delicious desserts, and being with my family, especially my nieces and nephews! I left all that behind to serve a mission in California and I love every minute of it!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for so many reasons, but one of the main ones is that I can constantly feel love, peace and hope in my life when I am following the principles taught by the gospel. I have always felt purpose and direction in my life because of what I know to be true about Jesus Christ and our loving Heavenly Father's plan for us. Every time I have felt lost, answers to my prayers have come in real and amazing ways. I know I can be freed from the mistakes I have made through Christ's atoning sacrifice. Looking back on my life so far I can always see God's hand in getting me to where I need to be and in helping me reach my full potential. My family has been blessed beyond measure and I am forever grateful to my parents for raising me in this church. Following Christ and always striving to be a righteous member of His church has never failed me, and I know it never will.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by putting my life in God's hands. I try my best to serve and be a loving friend when others need it. The little things I do every day such as praying and reading the Bible and Book of Mormon are an important part of keeping my faith strong. I have taught the 5 year olds in primary for a few years, and I am now serving a full-time mission in California! I live my faith by telling everyone I can about the gospel of Jesus Christ and the blessings it can bring.
