Hi I'm Julie

I have a wonderful husband, 4 beautiful kids, I love my life! I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 4 children. I have 3 boys and 1 girl. I love my family and my life seems to center around them. All of my boys are wrestlers and football players. We are constantly either going to practices or games / tournaments. It keeps us together as a family, I love it. My little girl is our princess. She was born with Down Syndrome. She is our little angel sent from heaven. She completes our family and brings a wonderful spirit wherever she goes. We have also been blessed with another angel from heaven. We have had the privilege of sharing our home with an adult woman with Down Syndrome. She has lived with us longer than 3 of our children. We like to think she helped prepare our family for our little girl. I also love to run, bike, stay active, and of course shop. My husband and I love to travel with our family and also get away by ourselves. I work part time as a social worker for a home health / hospice agency and at our local hospital. We recently just moved into our dream home. Life is good.

Why I am a Mormon

There is a great peace and comfort from living the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because I love my Savior Jesus Christ. I love being a part of something he created. I love the feelings I get when go to church, read from the scriptures, go to the temple and when I bow my head in prayer. I know he is listening and he cares for me. I know that I am a part of something much greater than I. Being a Mormon gives me direction through life and strength during my challenges. Being a Mormon has given me more than I could of found by living life on my own. The Lord loves each of us and has provided ways for us to maximize our potential. He wants us to return to him and has prepared a way for us to do so. His plan and teachings are found in the Mormon church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. That is way I am a Mormon...and proud of it.

How I live my faith

The gospel of Jesus Christ has been an active part of my life since high school. As a child I went to church off and on. It wasn't until I was older that I recognized the joy that comes from living the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have served in various callings throughout the church. My most life changing calling was that of a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I told myself I was going to give myself to my mission and the Lord's work. My missionary experiences helped lay a solid foundation for the rest of my life. It has helped me to grow and become a better person and mother. I am currently the chorister in church and I work with the 10-11 year old girls during the week doing various activities.
