Hi I'm Cody C H.

I grew up in a small town of Idaho. I'm going on a mission to the Ghana Accra West Mission in a few days.

About Me

Well I am about to head out into the best two years of my life. While I'm still at home I'm working, and my hobbies are Jeeping, one of my favorite things, I also like to play many sports including: Basketball, Lacrosse, Soccer, and Hockey.

Why I am a Mormon

Well I'd like to testify that anything is possible with Christ in your life. I've had times in my life when I rejected it and I've never been happier than when I can feel his influence guiding me. I know that Heavenly Father sent his only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to atone for our sins, so that we can return to heaven and be with H.F. again. I know that ever since my baptism that the Holy Ghost has been my constant companion, and with my strong faith I can feel him softening my heart towards our loving God. I know our trials in life are just small tests that aren't impossible but easy to get through when you listen to the Spirit. I know that Joseph Smith did get on his knees in the Sacred Grove and he did pray and get visited by God and the Savior. Since that day the priesthood and prophets have been restored. I'm thankful for the faith of Joseph Smith that he could transfer the golden plates. He could have given up and the mocking and afflictions he received would have stopped, but he did not give up and now we can have all the saving ordinances to return to heaven. I'm grateful for the loving prophet we have now. He teaches all the member to have joy in their life, to realize the purpose that we are here, to let us know where we will go. He is the messenger of God. I'm so grateful for missionaries. I've seen them testify to many of my friends and see them converted to become part of the true church. I'm grateful for the Spirit prompting me to go on a mission I can already feel the Charity filling every part of my life. I wouldn't trade my knowledge for any amount of money. This is the true church. I know the Savior lives and he did redeem us of our sins. We must prepare now to be able to meet him once again and say "I did remember you and I trusted in you." I say these thing in the name of our Redeemer, Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

Well I've grown up in the Church, and am very blessed because of it. I've been a leader many times throughout the Aaronic Priesthood, as well as on staff of APTC (Aaronic Priesthood Training Camp.) I was also a member of our towns Seminary Council, and have had many other similar positions.
