Hi I'm Bobby

I live in a small cowboy town in the middle of Oregon. I work at Prineville Body and Paint. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi my name is Robert, I am the fifth generation of Roberts in my family. Most people call me Bobby. I have lived in a small town in Oregon my entire life. I enjoy hunting large game and fishing. I try to spend as much time in the outdoors as I can. I also enjoy going mudding and four wheeling with my friends. I have worked in family auto body repair business since I was 10 years old. I have been called a very hard working person, I truly enjoy working. It gives me a sense of personal worth. I love my family very much, I have two twin sisters and a loving mom and dad. I am preparing to be a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I will serve for the space of two years away from my family in Provo, Utah. I am very excited to serve the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up on the church, I don't have a miraculous conversion story. But as I do go to church I am overwhelmed with a sense of peace and love. When I am there I don't have a worry in the world. The people are always so kind and caring. But the people isn't the soul reason I love going to church. As I study and pray about my scriptures I am filled with a wonderful feeling. I strive to be like Jesus Christ, he is the ultimate example. I wish to dwell with my Heavenly father again, and I know that he is helping though out my life to become perfect like him. I strive to keep myself clean that way I can stay on the straight and narrow path. I bear my testimony to you, that I know that this church is true. I know that Christ died on the cross for me, that in the garden he bled from every pore, so that I may be able to repent from my transgressions that way I may be able to live with him and my Father in heaven again. I know that the Prophet we have today is a called of God and that he speaks the truth. I testify to you that Joseph Smith did translate the Book of Mormon, I also testify that it is another testament of Jesus Christ and that through it's teachings we can come to know our Father in heaven. I know that my Heavenly Father knows me personally and that he is looking forward to me returning home to him. I know of the truthfulness of this gospel and that through it we can know all things. I encourage all who read this to find out for yourself if this gospel is true.

How I live my faith

I am currently the advisor to the young men's presidency in my ward, I also am on the youth committee board. I help plan and organize youth dance's. I feel that home teaching is very important and my companion and I strive to always do our home teaching. I attend our missionary and temple preparation classes.
