Hi I'm Meghan Crosby

I have lived in Utah my entire life. I leave on a mission to Aguascalientes Mexico in December. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated from High School and I am waiting to leave on my LDS mission in the winter. In my spare time I love to do anything artsy-- drawing, doodling, origami, web/interior design, and painting. I am trying to learn piano and freshen up on my Spanish. I am attending BYU in Fall of 2015 and I am currently saving money to pay for my LDS mission and college.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Since I was very little I have always had a testimony. I continue to follow His gospel because I have had very tender experiences in my life where the Holy Ghost has made manifest to me that this is the one true gospel on the Earth today! I know that my Heavenly Father loves me. I know I am important to Him, and He has a detailed plan for me. I know my Savior, Jesus Christ died so that I can live again. I know that there is a Prophet of God on the Earth, Thomas S. Monson, through him I can know what my Heavenly Father wants me to be doing. For me, being a member of this church means trying to be the best I can be each day; to me, it means living a life full of service, love, and learning. I am grateful for the knowledge and truth I have in my life because I am a member of this gospel, and I can't wait to share that knowledge on my mission to Aguascalientes, Mexico! I wake up smiling each day because I know each day is an opportunity to become more like the ultimate example, Jesus Christ. I know even though I make mistakes each day that when I repent my sins can be washed away! What a blessing being a member and having a testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is in my life.

How I live my faith

For over a year I served each week at The Utah State Developmental Center as a youth volunteer. I got to help many people with Intellectual Disabilities by visiting with them and going to the weekly 'wheel chair dance' where other youth came to volunteer and visit with those wonderful people! I try to fill my life with service because it brings me great joy and peace knowing that I can help others. Service is a huge part of being a member of the LDS church.
