Hi I'm Michael

I grew up in Brigham City, UT USA. I'm a Mechanical Engineering Intern. I love soccer and gardening. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on a small farm where we raised alfalfa hay and calves to sell at auction. I enjoy being outdoors doing anything; gardening, yard work, soccer, hiking, kayaking, camping, etc. I am currently in school studying to be a Mechanical Engineer. I recently married the love of my life a little over a year ago. This past first year of marriage has been bliss! We live in my wife's mother's home, taking care of her my wife's two younger teenage siblings. (one is a Junior and the other a Senior in high school)

Why I am a Mormon

When I was born, my parents were both Mormon (they still are). From my youth I was always taught and raised to live the standards outlined by the church. For much of my childhood I relied heavily on their influence and advice to help me make important decisions. However, despite all that I had been taught, I felt I needed to know for myself that God existed, loved me, and wanted me to live my life according to the standards I had been raised to believe. For this reason I prayed to my Heavenly Father to know whether what I had been taught throughout my life was true. I felt very strongly that what I have learned was right. I still continue to ask this same type of question about other things pertaining to the church. God always answers me in a way that makes sense to me and that I can understand. I am a Mormon because I know that God has restored the fullness and entirety of His gospel here on the Earth to help me come back to live with Him again because he loves me.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity to serve the people in my community through scouting. I help teach 11 year old scouts, helping prepare them and inspire them to achieve their "Eagle" scout award.
