Hi I'm Camille

I'm from Missouri. I'm a college student at BYU. I'm an aspiring photographer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah, and then my family moved to Missouri ten years later. I grew up in a small, "one-horse" town in Missouri, and I absolutely loved it! About a year ago, I moved out to Utah to attend college at BYU. I am currently studying Early Childhood Education because I absolutely love working with kids! I love how pure, gentle, and kind children are. I love that you can truly see the light of Christ shining through them. I can't wait until I graduate so I can have the blessed opportunity to learn and grow from children and from the pure love that they share. Because I am positive that they will be teaching me much more than I could ever begin to teach them!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy. I can honestly say that I have had times where I have struggled with my faith. Looking back, those were some of the unhappiest times of my life thus far. But now, I've had the opportunity to grow and develop my testimony. I can now say that without a shadow of a doubt, I know this gospel is true. I know that it brings happiness, such a great happiness that nothing but the Lord and His gospel can bring. No amount of wealth or riches in this world could ever bring or even compare to this ultimate happiness of the true Gospel of Christ. I was born and grew up a member of the Mormon Church. But, this is not why I'm Mormon. I'm not Mormon because I was born into it. I've had the opportunity for myself to decide if this is true, and I know that it is. I'm just one of the lucky ones that was born into the Gospel, and I didn't have to search to find it. But, I hope that even if I were not born into this Gospel, I would still have tried to find it, because I cannot even begin to imagine my life without this Gospel of Christ.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith is simple. Since I was young, my faith has taught me to strive to become like Christ. So, if I want to become like Christ, I believe that I need to unconditionally love others. This is how I live my faith-I strive to love others, just as Christ would. I try to find ways to serve others and to show them that I love them through my actions. I believe that this is the greatest way to live your faith-through the example you set. I know that I am so incredibly far from perfect, but I hope that others are able to see Christ through the way I live my life.
