Hi I'm Richard

I'm a father of five, I love my wife, and I enjoy meeting people from all over the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love spending time with my wife and children. Daily time with them is the highlight of my life. Vacations with them are memories I cherish. I love riding my road bicycle. I love to learn, laugh, and talk with others. I regularly visit India for business and enjoy my relationships with the wonderful people there. I also work with people in Dublin, Ireland, and the Eastern U.S. This world has amazing people in it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the joy I feel from the knowledge I have gained through study, prayer, and personal inspiration from God. Knowing that I will be with my family for eternity is a key source of my joy. Knowing that I will one day stand before Christ moves me to live my life in accordance with His teachings. I look forward to the day that I will confess my love to Him in person - for now, my prayers reach Him and He lifts my spirit. The knowledge of God's ongoing support of His children here on Earth brings me peace; He supports me through the joys and trials of this existence.

How I live my faith

I love pondering the mission of Jesus Christ, His preeminence as the Son of God, and the Atonement wrought for all of mankind. My faith defines me - I serve as a teacher or anything else needed in my ward. Daily scripture study, daily prayer, family prayer, prayers at mealtime - all of these define not only what I do, but who I am. I feel deeply the joys and sorrows of others and try to lighten their burdens through service and visits. I visit families each month to share messages of faith and inspiration; I also check on them for their spiritual and temporal welfare.
