Hi I'm Eric

I'm studying Animation and play competitive Ultimate Frisbee. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in California but moved all around the west coast at a young age since my dad was in the Navy. I'm the youngest of three and grew very close to my older brother and sister during the moves. From having to move so often I did several clubs and sports to make friends and I have several interests that started from doing that. I love Cross Country, Music, Debate, Marching Band, Backpacking, Ultimate Frisbee and drawing. I have always had a soft spot for cartoons and am currently working to get into the competitive Animation program at Brigham Young University. I dream to one day work for Pixar or Disney. More often than not you can find me at my desk studying or drawing with music playing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate enough to be raised in a Mormon family. While we went through the hardship that hits every Military family it was reassuring to know I had a Ward family that I could turn to and to know my family would stay strong during the tough months my father was deployed overseas. I saw firsthand how living the gospel lead me to a happier life when we lived in poverty-stricken neighborhoods throughout California and Washington. The divine traits my church has helped me appreciate and develop I will always cherish. Connecting spiritually with my Heavenly Father has filled the gap in my life I see so strongly in many of my friends. I give my word and bear my testimony that these things are true and will lead you and me to a better and more fulfilled life.

How I live my faith

I love working with kids and thankfully am given the opportunity through my job and church calling. I teach Sunday school for an hour every Sunday- it's a great experience. I also help some of my friends with Home Teaching where I can teach a lesson and catch up with them every couple weeks. When I can resist hitting the snooze button I also practice with my ward Choir.
