Hi I'm Sara

I'm a Mormon. I have always loved animals and I work at a veterinary clinic.

About Me

I'm an Animal Health Technologist, after taking 2 years of post secondary in that program. I like to be active and spend time outdoors. I like trying new things. I have gone zip lining, repelling off a bridge, touched a rhino, white water rafting, and am planning on sky diving this summer. My love for travel took me to South Africa, working with their wildlife and soaking up their culture. l love horses and riding western pleasure and trail rides. I have a border collie, a little mixed breed dog, and a cat on a farm. I have a brother, and we are both bilingual.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel changed my life by changing my parents for the better. My extended family aren't members, but they're great people. My parents hadn't met any members before two sister missionaries knocked on our door when I was a kid. When they lived the gospel and were baptized, they were completely different and so were their lifestyles, so we were raised with the gospel and the blessings and safety that comes with it. Keeping the commandments makes me happy. It lets me feel God's love for me and His guidance and reassurance in my life. The commandments don't change even when the world's changing and it's a crazy place. I love my family. I love that I can be sealed to them here or later, and be with them when I die. This church and the gospel is for everyone. I appreciate what it has done for me and how it has given me answers.

How I live my faith

I help out in my community when I can, like with Santas anonymous and the blood donor clinic. I am a secretary in my ward's women's organization. I really like working with the president and counselors, and the women in my ward group. The gospel of Jesus Christ changed my life and I want to be as involved in it as I can possibly be!
