Hi I'm Anne

I've traveled around the world singing, teaching, and learning about different cultures. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As the oldest of eight children, I learned how to work hard. Fortunately, my parents also taught us to love each other and we are the best of friends. Through family, school, and church opportunties, I've visited or lived in 17 countries on all continents (except Australia). I love being a (single) mom and teacher of English to speakers of other languages. In my spare time, I enjoy zumba, hiking with friends, and trying new things.

Why I am a Mormon

Every time I read the scriptures or go to church, I feel God's Spirit of peace, comfort, love, and joy. This strengthens my conviction that He lives and loves me and all mankind, his spirit children. My prayers have been answered countless times and I'm grateful He is always available to listen, guide, and comfort. I believe God is far more forgiving and understanding than any person on earth. Through doing our best to follow the teachings of Jesus a little better each day, we can be forgiven of our sins and find great joy and peace. I invite you to learn more on www.lds.org and www.mormon.org.

How I live my faith

I strive to follow the apostle Paul's counsel to seek after things that are true, honest, pure, and of good report (Phillipians 4:8). I actively embrace all truth, wherever it is found, and believe that one truth doesn't conflict with other truths. Every morning, I read the scriptures to fill my heart and mind with hope, faith, and love. I look for ways to serve others and look for the good in life. And I try to teach my teenager that peace and happiness comes from living a Christlike life and from keeping God's commandments.
