Hi I'm Maddie

I'm a high school student. I am the second of eight children. I play the violin and piano. I love music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a senior in high school and I love it. I have played the violin for 12 years and teach private lessons. I love just having fun and spending time with my crazy family and friends! After high school i hope to go to college for a semester and then serve a mission!

Why I am a Mormon

I am so grateful because I have great parents who raised me as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Their example to me, when I was younger, gave me the desire to have the faith and testimony that they have. I decided for myself that I would read the Book of Mormon to know of a surety that it was true. I have done this and know without a doubt that we have a loving Heavenly Father, and a Savior who has atoned for all of our sins. They love us so much and I can feel their love daily. I know that I can be with my family forever. I am so grateful for this amazing gospel, I know that it is true without a doubt, and it brings such a happiness and hope into my life. I hope that everyone can feel this joy that comes from drawing closer to our Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that through daily prayer and scripture study, I can continue to feel this joy, and strengthen my testimony of this gospel.

How I live my faith

I live what I believe in by trying to serve as our Savior would. I can never be perfect, but I hope to work hard to be as charitable, supportive, and loving as I can to those around me. In my ward I am in charge of all the girls ages 16 to 18. I love teaching this gospel and sharing it with others to bring the joy into their lives that I feel daily.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Marriages and families can be together forever through ordinances performed in temples. With the proper authority, we are able to be sealed to our spouse and children, so that we may be a family forever, throughout the eternities. Show more Show less
