Hi I'm Susan Wilde Staheli

I am a Daughter of God. I love Jesus Christ, His Gospel, life and learning. I choose to be happy and free.

About Me

I am a Daughter of God, wife, mother and grandmother. I love to cook, especially homemade bread, sew, and be with children. I enjoy riding horses and mules in the mountains with my husband and family. I like to be happy and choose to find the good in others and each situation I encounter. I cannot do all things but I can do something. I find joy in putting my something with yours, together we can do great things.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born of goodly parents. They taught me of Jesus Christ, His Gospel, and to pray to my Heavenly Father. I was baptized on my eight birthday. I have always remembered that day, I chose to become a member of this the true church upon the Earth. This Church's foundation is that of Jesus Christ, it is a sure foundation. All the principles and ordinances I have received have strengthened me as I journey through life. I know who I am, a daughter of a loving Heavenly Father. He knows me and helps me daily through His son Jesus Christ and His Atonement. I attend church each week to renew the covenants I have made with Him. He is the only way to true happiness. I know that Joseph Smith saw the Father and the Son. I stand amazed at what he was willing to do that I may have the truth restored. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the living prophet on the Earth today. I know that all the keys. principles, and ordinances can go forth and become part of our life, through following this prophet's counsel and direction. I have read and studied the Scriptures. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that by reading, pondering and applying it's teachings, one may come closer to Jesus Christ and His Gospel. I know that marriage is ordained of God and families are meant to be together forever. I am most grateful for Jesus Christ. He is the Son of God, my Savior, Redeemer, and best friend. He has made it possible to return home with family. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen

How I live my faith

I love to serve. In my home, especially my husband, I look for ways to bring him comfort. I assist him on the farm and with animals when needed. I love to serve my married children and grandchildren. I have often gone into their homes and helped where needed. I always make them feel welcome when they come into our home. I listen, love, and serve them. I give my grandchildren my constant time and love. Serving In my community, I tutor children in reading skills, helping them to become more independent and successful. I hold a diabetic group session once a month. I am grateful for my membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Saints. I have served always in the organizations of this Church. I love to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ by example, word, music, written, or deed. I enjoy visiting the elderly and have found much joy as we learn and share together. I believe in finding the good in others and always try to encourage, give opportunity, and share the light. I have always tried to be a good leader and follower of truth. I have given comfort, shared testimony, taught, fed others physically and spiritually. I have smiled, cried, laughed and learned through the moments of service. I have spent many years of service with women and young women. Seeking opportunities to put into practice the good we believe in. I love life, learning, doing, mine and yours. We each are a son or daughter of God. We are important in His sight. His love is real for each individual.
