Hi I'm Annika Hancock

I play basketball, I am going to Utah State for college, and I am a mormon

About Me

I have played basketball seriously since eighth grade. I also play volleyball and ran track in high school. I took a lot of AP classes. I have refereed soccer for six years. I also come from a family of eight and I am the middle child.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because it is the happy, steady rock of my life. When I don't feel like I have a purpose I can always turn to the lord and he shows me how to fulfill my purpose. Sometimes it is by doing work in the temple, sometimes it is by being good friends with those around me. It is also a pick up whenever I am feeling down and can't make myself happy. I can always listen to conference talks or read the scriptures and it always leaves me with a feeling of greater peace. I truly love this gospel and I feel so blessed that it is in my life.

How I live my faith

I am the president of the group of girls my age. I serve them by planning activities that will help us grow. Those activities include things like learning a new skill, having experiences that will help us come closer to our savior, and have fun activities that will help us build friendships with one another.
