Hi I'm Genet

I'm a bibliophile who can't spell, an archer who doesn't hunt, and a person who loves to sing and really can't. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Stories are my currency. I love anything that tells a good story from TV shows to music, live theater to books. I play lacrosse and am currently trying to paint. One of these days those blobs will actually be recognizable as something. I'm related to a pair of board game connoisseurs and have played some truly great games. I am attending college, English major. Since my dad gets airsick, I've completed many a road trip and I love them. The biggest one being from California to Maine. I enjoy the outdoors and the stars removed from city lights.

Why I am a Mormon

I've chosen to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because of The Book of Mormon. I have learned of, and grown closer to Jesus Christ, my Savior, by reading and studying that book. I have listened to the prophet and apostles of this church and felt God's love for me through them. They testify of Christ, the Book of Mormon testifies of Christ and I know that this church is Christ's true church on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I organize events for the women in my community and church. I fellowship and visit ladies around me to get to know them and to be in a position to help them should they ever need it. I study the word of God and pray everyday. I attend church every Sunday and participate in other related activities during the week, such as Family Home Evening.
