Hi I'm Allison

I live in Highland Utah. I have 5 kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Alpine Utah and am the oldest of 7 girls. I live around all of my 6 sisters and we get together a lot! I have 5 kids, 3 boys and 2 girls from 15 years to 6 years old. My oldest is learning to drive, scary! My youngest is about to start 1st grade! I love to crochet, scrapbook, and read. I especially love Historical Fiction.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the gospel. I love the Savior and I know He lives. I am so thankful for the wonderful blessings of the gospel. I have had a testimony of this church since I was young. I don't ever remember not believing in it. However, my testimony is constantly growing and being strengthened. It is a constant effort, but so worth it!

How I live my faith

I am very involved in the local branch of our church women's organization. I am the secretary. It has been a great experience to help me get to know people. As new people move into our area I get to talk to them and gather information about them and get their pictures. This helps all of us get to know them better. I am involved in visiting teaching which involves visiting two ladies in their homes each month. We visit, catch up on their lives, and share a spiritual message. I live my faith each day as I start the day with scripture reading and prayer. I rely on the promptings from the Holy Ghost to guide me in how I live my life. I love attending the temple and doing service there. I am lucky to live just 10 minutes from the temple.

What blessings can we receive through the gift of the Holy Ghost?

The Holy Ghost guides me everyday. He prompts me to talk to my children when they need help. He warns me about danger. He affirms good things in my life. He comforts me when I am sad or scared. He gives me peace. Show more Show less
