Hi I'm Kim

I am a mother of 3 very active, little boys. Everyday is an adventure.

About Me

After finishing graduate school in occupational therapy, I knew that I wanted to work with children with special needs. I particularly enjoyed working in early intervention where the kiddos made such great progress with a little love and help. My education and work experience prepared me to be the mother of a child with special needs. My second pregnancy went smoothly until I noticed that my baby stopped moving at 37 1/2 weeks. Thankfully, I had an excellent doctor and my baby was delivered with an emergency C-section. However, with his traumatic entry into the world, he was very sick. With the help of God's generous mercy, numerous prayers and fasting, and a priesthood blessing, my baby recovered. I know that my little boy (now 5) is a walking miracle, especially having a diagnosis of cerebral palsy.

Why I am a Mormon

I love Jesus Christ. I feel that God has been so generous with me, pouring out so many blessing. I want to serve Him. I want to be the best person I can and being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints helps me achieve that goal. I know that God loves all of His children and that He wants all of us to return to His presence one day.

How I live my faith

I love music. About 4 years ago I decided to learn how to play the harp. It helps me feel closer to God and brings peace to my home. At church I help by leading the choir.
