Hi I'm Jacob

I was born and raised in Texas. I love the gospel and my family. I love the outdoors, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love life. I feel so blessed to have the restored gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. I served my mission in the Germany, Frankfurt mission, and I really miss Germany. I Love my family. I love being from a family of 6 children, and being an uncle to 9 kids. Anything outdoors is what I love to do. I am in the Air Force National Guard. I am excited to see what that brings to my life. I am attending school currently at Brigham Young University-Idaho studying mechanical engineering. I love it here!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have had too many confirmations in my life that the restored gospel is true. I have prayed and my testimony has been confirmed over and over again. The gospel all ties together, and it makes sense. Our Heavenly Father loves us so much and gives us so many opportunities to come unto Him.

How I live my faith

I feel like I live my faith by trying to become like Jesus Christ. I try, but I am not perfect at it. If I am becoming more like Christ everyday, then I am living my faith. I feel like another good way to live my faith is by doing missionary work. I try and share the gospel when I get the chance. If it means something to me then I'll share it right? I also feel closer to my Savior when I do such.

What is the priesthood?

The priesthood is the authority to act in Gods name. Jesus Christ had the priesthood and he gave it to his twelve apostles. When they were all killed the priesthood was gone from the face of the earth. In 1830 the priesthood was restored to the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith. The priesthood is given to those who are worthy by someone who has the proper authority to do so. The priesthood is to bless the lives of other, and bring families together for time and all eternity in the holy temples of the Lord. Show more Show less
