Hi I'm Sister Erwina Zachrias

I grew up on the beautiful Island of Northern Marianas Island. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am half Marshallese, Half Phonpeian I am Sister Erwina Zachrias. I am currently serving in the Minneapolis, Minnesota Mission (MMM). I was born on a tiny island of Majuro, Marshall Island. When I was about six years old my parents moved my siblings and I to another island called Saipan, Commonwealth of The Northern Marianas Island. This is where I became a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint. I've played basketball, volleyball and off course swimming. I have always enjoyed the outdoors. Since, moving to Utah I started loving in love with hiking and snow sledding. I always consider myself as a shy person, but when you get to know me more then that could totally be a different story.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a Member of the Church when I was 8 years old but, I didn't fully understood "Why I am a Mormon" until now when I left to question my Faith, My Strength, My Weakness is when I realized that there is no Church so true as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint. I know that my Savior died for me on that cross and I know that The Book of Mormon was created and translated for me to strengthen me when trials come. I know that through our deepest trials we come to know of our Faith in Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Before my mission, I had so many questions about who God is to me personally and what my purpose is on this earth? It sounds like we all go through tough times and fall away from what keeps us pushing forward. In that case, I was that person. I left the church for many reasons, but one question struggled me for quite a while and that is Why do bad things happened to good people? I came back to the church at the age of 12 years old, but I came back for the social aspect of it all. I started reading the Book of Mormon and praying daily and I knew that there was a God and He is my Heavenly Father. I watched as I explore nature and knew that Heavenly Father had a plan for me here on Earth.
