Hi I'm Paulo

I'm a human resource executive, I have lived in several parts of the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love spending time with my beautiful family, I enjoy gardening and reading. I love travelling to different parts of the world, taste different food, see different landscapes and listen to different music.

Why I am a Mormon

I just know that Mormonism is true. I have traveled extensively, read many good books and attended some the world's best universities, but it is in the Holy Bible, in the Book of Mormon - Another Testament of Jesus Christ and in the modern revelations brought by the Prophet Joseph Smith and the subsequent modern prophets that I find the spiritual meaning for everything. Like flashes of intense light, the words of the prophets help me discern right from wrong in a world of so many conflicting voices. They also open the way for me to find for myself additional knowledge of true principles on a infinite scale. Mormonism is family centered and supports and defends traditional family values. Mormonism teaches that God loves us so much that all he wants is to make us, one day, equal to him and inherit all that he has. It may be too much for the minds of some people or even unacceptable by some religions, but for me it means that God sees in us, his literal children, much greater potential than we can possibly foresee for ourselves. I am a Mormon because Mormonism means loving everyone and being open to all truth. I strive to live up to this high standard.

How I live my faith

I enjoy very much serving in the Church, and I especially like teaching and participating in service projects. I have beloved friends in all religions but I am very grateful for the loving warmth with which I am welcomed by local Mormons (Latter-Day Saints) in whatever part of the world I go. I love the incredible "feeling at home" in our wards and branches everywhere in the planet. There is so much that we can do to improve our world! There is so many people to whom we can extend our hand of love in this world, and so much to share and to learn with them. Everyday in my life I try to do my little part to create a better world for all my spiritual brothers and sisters.

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

There are billions of people in the world looking for deeper meaning for their lives or even trying to find answers to existential dilemmas and an explanation for their challenges. Millions of them are simply having and opportunity to find their answers in our message. I have been one of them. I am a convert. I can't express in words my gratitude for the light that entered my life when I accepted the gospel of Jesus Christ through the Mormon Church. In many ways my life is as ordinary as that of any of my neighbors or work associates. I have a family, a job, some hobbies and try to be a good citizen. But as I look to my purposes, I aim way beyond this life and this world. While striving to make the best of their mortal lives and of the world we live in, Mormons believe and live for eternity. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints boldly testifies that it is the restored Church of Jesus Christ in our days, guided personally by Christ through living prophets and apostles. I was a full-time missionary of the Church and continue to share my testimony without fear. Our young and our elderly missionaries continue to travel the world with a firm belief in their message and willingness to make personal sacrifice to lovingly share our message throughout the world. People join us because they find answers. They also find joy and abundance in their lives. Parents find with us a healthy environment to raise their children. We are happy, friendly and never tired of doing good. Show more Show less
