Hi I'm Mitchell

3X State Wrestling Champion, Greco-Roman Wrestling National Runner-up, Air Force Academy Cadet. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I really enjoy sports. I won 3 state championships in wrestling, and received All-American status four times for Greco-Roman wrestling. I graduated in 2012, Then spent a year going to school at the Air Force Academy before I received my mission call to Frankfurt Germany.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that was part of the church, but this is only part of why I am a Mormon. When I left home for college at the Air Force Academy I got to see the difference in people's lives who don't have the gospel, compared to those that do. I had the opportunity to talk to some of my friends that aren't apart of the church about what they believed. Many of them didn't have any beliefs at all. They were just living to live. That bothered me. I am a Mormon because it gives me a sense of purpose. I know where I came from, what I am doing here, and where I am going. I know that Jesus Christ atoned for my sins, and died on the cross so that I can return to live with him and my heavenly father. I know that living the gospel is the only way that I can do that.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be the best I can be. I have always tried to live in such a way, that if people see how I am living and want to be like me, I will be an example for good. I work to become better everyday, by learning to live and apply characteristics of the Savior Jesus Christ. I look for opportunities to serve. Right now, I am serving a full-time mission in Frankfurt, Germany. This gives me the opportunity to help people that I meet, come closer to Jesus Christ. I live my faith by studying the scriptures, and daily improving my relationship with my Heavenly Father.
