Hi I'm Joralis

I'm from Puerto Rico. I was studying psychology but i decided to serve a mission before I graduate. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I started college to study psychology. I'm a volleyball player and a model. I really like to read. Make some crafts. I draw with pencil and also paint. I like to explore the nature and visiting national parks with caves and lots of vegetation. I collect heart-shaped leaves. I love going to the beach and collect shells and snorkel. I enjoy classic music and learning to play piano.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I discovered that it is the only one with the complete truth. At the beginning, my family was upset because of my decision. I was the only one who was investigating about the Gospel and wanted to get baptized. My mom didn't let me go to church or even read about it. I was really sad but I kept working hard and prayed to our Father for help and also to let me know if I was choosing the right. I received an answer and today, I'm baptized and preparing to serve a full time mission. I didn't understand a couple of things but the perfect way to know the answers is to pray to our Father and He, at His perfect time, will answer. My family understood my decision and now they are fine with it. I have no doubt that this is the truth. Our Father blesses His children when they do sacrifices to follow His commandments. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of the Lord and he was sent to restore His Gospel. I know that if we strive and we have faith, the Lord will help us and will strengthen us. I'm still the only member but I'm sure I'll have an eternal family. The happiness that I can feel living the Gospel is something that I want to share with others. I want to let them understand how infinite is the love of our Father and how He can bless us all. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I love to go out with the sisters missionaries. I'm a teacher of children from 3 to 4 years old at church. I'm working on some projects of community service with my friends. Every month I visit sisters to see what they may need and share a message with them. I help to prepare plays to edify others and have a great time. I love to share my testimony and what I have learn with my family and friends. Reading the Scriptures is one of my favorite things! I really like to learn new things about the Gospel and strengthen my testimony of it. I do some pencil draws and paintings inspired in the Gospel so I can keep getting closer to our Father. My friends and I always plan to get together and talk about the Scriptures and our plans in this Gospel to support us each other. I take classes every week about The Book of Mormon, The Old Testament, New Testament and other very important things of the Gospel. A couple of important things is that I strive to be like Jesus Christ and follow his example, trust our Father, follow His commandments, pray every day and love everyone the same way I love me. :)
