Hi I'm Kilinoe

I am hawaiian. I sing. I dance. I'm a photographer. I'm a mormon!

About Me

I'm so blessed to have grown up in the gospel and in a musically talented family. I'm the only girl and oldest in my family among two brothers. Right now, I have a younger brother serving his mission. I'm currently serving a mission in Tokyo, Japan!

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I mormon? Its simple. It makes me happy. Sure, I could do things that make me happy for now, but I want a happiness that lasts forever. For me, personally, happiness can sometimes be hard to find. Negative things overwhelm me and I want to give in. I want to give up and never go on. But, the funny thing is that I found someone who loves me ALWAYS. I found a comforter, a peacemaker, a leader, and a friend. I found my Savior, Jesus Christ and he makes me happy. Through Jesus Christ I know that no matter what, life goes on. Challenges make come and the road may be hard but through Christ, I can DO HARD THINGS. I'm grateful for the continual love that is extended towards me everyday to pick me up when I fall or wipe my tears after a bad days. I have a God who loves me, who knows my personal name and helps me if I ask. Why am I mormon? Why do I choose this gospel? Because through Jesus Christ, I can be happy forever! :)

How I live my faith

I wish I could tell you all about the callings I've had but honestly, I haven't had much. Everyday I try to live my faith by reading my scriptures, studying its words and meanings to be a little bit closer to my heavenly father. I try to understand and ask questions all the time from my family members to learn more and to spiritually grow. Because I live five minutes from Laie Hawaii Temple, I try to go often. My mother and I will go on weekly temple trips together to be closer to each other but more importantly, closer to our Heavenly Father and savior, Jesus Christ.
