Hi I'm Kathleen Webb

I am the mom to 5 daughters and 1 son. Country life is my forte. I am a mormon!

About Me

I love life on the farm. I love gardening. I am happiest when I am outdoors. One of my favorite activities is to be with my young grandchildren as they discover the wonders of nature. I love discovering various bugs with my grandsons and picking beautiful flowers with my granddaughters. Of course, riding the pony or collecting the chicken's eggs is also a source of great pleasure. I have discovered in my "golden" years that the simplest things in life bring the most joy. The greatest of God's gifts to us are FREE. A child's happy grin, a rainbow, the smell of the roses, a nicker from the horse as you get his feed - these are the kinds of treasures that I appreciate.

Why I am a Mormon

My husband and I were "tracted" out by the missonaries over 30 years ago. We were happily attending a different church at the time. When we listened to their message that told of God the Father and Jesus the Christ visiting a boy prophet we just had to know if it was true. We accepted the challenge to read the Book of Mormon. We prayed to know the truth of it for ourselves. We attended church and made that leap of faith to follow the example of Jesus Christ and be baptized by one holding that restored priesthood authority. Because of that decision to follow Jesus Christ's example, we have been immensely blessed as a family.. We are sealed in the Holy Temple of the Lord for time and for all eternity. We have great peace and joy in this world, even though there is so much turmoil and suffering around us. We have great hope and knowledge that life continues beyond the grave and that we can live together as families and as resurrected beings with our God. Jesus is my Savior, my Redeemer and my great example. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Becoming a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has allowed me to have a wonderful and loving extended church family throughout the years of raising our children. One of my favorite activities over the years is going to the young women's camp activities in the summertime. Lifetime friendships have been created and our relationship with our Savior has grown as my daughters and I have participated in this wonderful annual activity. My son and his father have had this same opportunity through the church's Duty to God and Boy Scout activities as well. The network of wonderful youth activities and great youth leaders has been a true blessing in the raising of our children and in their becoming productive and accomplished adults. Raising our family in the Church has been one of the greatest blessings of our lives. Our children had "positive" peer pressure to "choose the right". In our trouibled world, that has been a wonderful source of strength to each of them. Because the gospel teaches
