Hi I'm Sara

I grew up in Alabama. I love music. I'm an aspiring interior designer, an outdoors enthusiast, and a people person. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love reading and writing. I play percussion in my local youth orchestra. I play games and watch movies with my family all the time. I've worked in a fast food restaurant all throughout high school. I love to joke around with my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a Mormon, but I have had experiences that confirm my beliefs. When i was young, I read the Book of Mormon with my family, and, once we finished it, I prayed about it. I immediately felt the truth of the book, starting my own belief. I love the truths the church teaches, and I love the feelings I get when I go to church every Sunday. The gospel has helped me through the rough years of middle school and high school. Without faith I would be lost. Instead I know who I am and that I'm part of a bigger plan. :)

How I live my faith

I try to be a good example to my friends.I keep my language and jokes clean. I try to help anyone I see in need of help. I basically try to act as Jesus would want me to act.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Sara
We donate 10% of our income because the Lord has asked us to. In the Bible, the Jews were commanded to pay a tithe, or the first ten percent. We do this still today as a sign to God that we are willing to put Him first in our lives. Show more Show less
