Hi I'm Jenae Feddock

I've lived all around the states and in Canada. I'm a college student studying Marketing at BYU. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in California into a family of five with two little brothers. I've moved almost every year of my life. I've lived in California, Washington, Arizona, Texas, Alberta, and now Utah. I currently am a college student studying business with an emphasis in marketing. I love being outdoors, everything from camping to horseback riding to rock climbing. I also love sports, in High School I was involved in Badminton, Volleyball, Swim team, Track, and anything else my friends wanted to play on the weekends. When I finish college I hope to go into an area of work where I have the ability to help as many people around me as possible. I hope to go into either humanitarian work or micro-finance and hopefully make just a small difference in the lives of the homeless and those who live in third-world countries.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it brings me more joy in life than anything else. I'm a Mormon because when I come closer to Christ through reading the scriptures and listening to His chosen representatives here on earth I feel peace. Being a Mormon has shaped every decision I have ever made in this life because I know that my Savior wants what is best for me and He loves me. Because I know that my Father in Heaven and my Savior love me, I try my best every day to be the kind of daughter they would want me to be. I am a Mormon because I want to return to my Heavenly Father one day. I am a Mormon because I love my family so much I never want to be without them, and through this gospel I am able to have my family with me forever. I am a Mormon because I have prayed about this gospel and truth myself and I have had my own personal witness that it is the true church on this earth. I am a Mormon because I can feel God's love for me when I am serving others, and I feel that same love when I am in the LDS Church on Sunday. I am a Mormon because I know that God lives and His son Jesus Christ came down to this earth to suffer and die for my sins. I know that Jesus Christ was absolutely sinless and He gave up his life to save mine. I know that He is my older brother and I love Him. I know that one day, if I am faithful and follow His commandments, I will be able to return and live with Him again, and I am a Mormon because I want to come back to Him and say that I found His church here on earth and I did everything I could to help my brothers and sisters on this earth find it as well.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through service. I currently am involved in the Center for Service and Learning at Brigham Young University. Through this organization (Y-Serve) I am able to serve in over 70 different programs that offer opportunities from tutoring children in the Utah valley area to making hygiene kits for people in Africa. I've been involved in different programs over the last three years and have been able to see how just a small act of service can make such a huge difference and I've realized the importance of everyone coming together to make this world a better place. I currently serve in my church as an activities director for the young adults and bring them together to have a meaningful experience once a week where they can feel Christ's love for them and learn how to better follow Him.
