Hi I'm Alejandro Rodriguez

I was born in Los Angeles and I went to high school in Utah. I love music. I'm serving as a Missionary in Tampa Florida!

About Me

I'm a huge music fan. When I was 12 years old I began learning how to play the viola. During that school year my friend gave me her guitar and I joined her rock band. Ever since, I've been doing various musical projects such has punk bands, string and symphony orchestras, blue grass bands, audio engineering, singing in church choirs, and other cool stuff. At the moment, I'm sharing the Gospel full time in the Tampa Bay area in Florida.

Why I am a Mormon

I came to know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true because of several spiritual experiences I had while reading the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon had exactly what I needed while I was struggling to do what was right in high school. Ever since, the things I've learned have served me well as a foundation after high school and in many different places. I still feel today that God is aware of me and of my family and friends and that He guides me through life. Jesus Christ is our savior and can save us from anything.

How I live my faith

Although being involved in music can take you to some crazy places, parties, and concerts, I strive to live my faith by doing what I know is right despite what others are doing. I try to be friendly and reach out to everyone whether it be with my music or simply talking to them. Everyone deserves a friend. Friendship goes beyond beliefs and background. I pray that people can feel God's love for them threw my friendship. The thing I love about music and friendship and the gospel is that those things are here to lift us up when we are down, they are here to inspire us to do better, to aim higher, to be intense, and to be sincere.
