Hi I'm Kyler

I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love sports and being active! My favorite subject in school is math. I played football in high school and was involved in extra curriculars. I love doing things outside my comfort zone and doing things I might be afraid to do so long as they are not outside my morals. My dad was in the U.S. Navy until i was 17 so growing up I have moved a lot from Virgninia to California to Hawaii but never outside the U.S.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ since I was baptized at 8 years old. Growing up in the church has allowed me to learn a lot about my Savior and His church restored to the earth but I really gained a testimony for Christ and His church when I was 15 years old. My dad was in the Navy all growing up so we moved a lot. At the time we had been in Texas for 3 years, the longest by far that I've lived anywhere. I had friends and, what I felt like, was finally some stability in my life. My parents had promised me we would stay in Texas until I graduated high school, but my dad was still in the Navy and was being transferred to Hawaii. At the time, I was deeply upset. I was tired of moving and wasn't ready to do it again.

How I live my faith

I have been a leader in my youth group all through out my life from 12-18. I love church and lessons we learn there. I enjoy being involved in community projects. I have helped organize a youth activity for more than 200 youth. I am an Eagle Scout and because of that I have had many opportunities to be involved in community projects. I love service, it presents an opportunity to do something good for someone but at the same time I have learned so many different skills from it. I think the best way to live my faith is by living it all the time not being a follower of Christ only on Sunday but everyday trying my best to live more like our Savior.
