Hi I'm Gary (Mike) Saxon

I grew up in south Georgia. I like to repair things.

About Me

I am medically retired due to injuries military and work so I get to do a lot of Honey-does. Have wonderful wife, Ruth, a daughter Caroline and a son Joseph. I remember attending Baptist, Methodist and Catholic churches in early life. Was about 4 years old when my Mother was baptized. I have had a rocky times attending Church due to do some self righteous members but have decided that I am not going to let them control my testimony. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the most correct religion I have found and I have checked out quite a few. Being a Mormon has brought more joy than pain and many blessings in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to be a Mormon because this religion has been able to answer most all my questions about life and its purpose. Through its teachings I know that my family will be together forever if we follow Christ's examples. I do my best to live the Gospel but being weak I know I must depend on the Atonement of Christ. He suffered for our sins and I do not want to add to that suffering.

How I live my faith

I am a HAM radio operator and tried to help others in the Church into the hobby. My wife and I have work in genealogy for many years and enjoy helping others to learn about their ancestors. I do my best to live the teachings in the scriptures and treat all others with respect.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Remember to treat your family with love and respect. We have to: 1) Live righteously 2) Have the sealing ordinances done and 3) Have the desire to be together for eternity. Show more Show less
