Hi I'm Kaisha

I'm from Iowa. I'm a Freshman at Brigham Young University - Idaho. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Kaisha. I'm a Freshman at Brigham Young University - Idaho studying Communication and Public Relations. I am very ambitious and driven. I love planning events and serving my community. I like doing crafts, reading and learning new things, singing and playing the piano, cooking and baking, and watching movies. I enjoy traveling, and experiencing new things. I am an avid basketball fan and spend most of my time cheering on my favorite teams. Laughing with my friends and family is how I like to spend my weekends. I'm the youngest of 3 children, and grew up in Ames, Iowa.

Why I am a Mormon

I am continually grateful for the knowledge I have of this gospel being restored to the earth on these latter days. I know that we are all children of God. I know that we lived with our Father in Heaven before we came to this earth. I know that we came to have a physical body, to learn and to grow, to show others his light and love. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, chosen to restore this beautiful gospel on this earth. His calling was divine, and we have living Prophets and Apostles today to inspire and uplift us. Through the power of the restored priesthood we can receive blessings and be eternally sealed to our families in the temple. I know the Lord hears and answers our prayers. I know that the Holy Ghost can give us guidance and support as a constant companion in our lives. The spirit can manifest to us the truthfulness of the gospel, the love of our Savior, our Sheppard, and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. I know that through the power of the atonement, my sins can be forgiven, and I can return to live in the presence of God. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that through reading the scriptures, we can find and recognize the love of our Savior. This I know and believe, in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through example. Spreading cheer by being kind to others, flashing a smile, or making someone laugh is how I show others of my love for Christ. Uplifting and encouraging others, and teaching the principles of the gospel at home, school, and work. As I strive to come closer to Christ, and be an example to others, I am reminded of the love that our Savior has for each of us, which brings me so much joy and happiness.
