Hi I'm Eric

I grew up in Corona CA. I'm a missionary in South Carolina, I row canoes, Yo Soy Fiesta! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am 20 years old and I was born in the backwards city of Provo, Utah. I have lived most of my life in Corona California. My family moved there when I was 5 years old. I am currently serving in the South Carolina Columbia Mission. I know that this is where The Lord requires my labors at the present time and I am willing to follow Christ to the ends of the earth if he asked me to do so. My labors end May 28th, 2015. I am nothing without this amazing gospel and find nothing but the utmost joy in sharing it with others. I am a sports fanatic! In high school I played football, Rugby and I wrestled. Before my mission, I attended Utah State University in Logan, Utah and I absolutely loved it there. I plan on going back to Utah State after my mission and play Rugby there. I'm also pursuing a career in Orthodontics. I love all things outdoors. Fishing, hiking, hunting, camping, rock climbing, etc.. You name it and I'll enjoy it. I enjoy reading and writing quite a bit as well. History is my favorite subject, I'd go as far to say that I'm addicted to it. My favorite genre's of music include Pop punk, Ska, and well a lot of things. My talents... well... I'm actually not sure. I'll find out one day. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for a few reasons. One is that my parents are both members of the Church and that's just the way I was raised. However, there is another reason. That reason is that I have put forth the effort to find out for myself if The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is what it claims to be. Through diligent study, thought, action and prayer I have found out for myself that this is The Kingdom of God that has been restored to the earth in our day. No material claiming to be contrary can convince me otherwise.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by spreading the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and living Christ's teachings. No where in the world can you find the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, except for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I read my scriptures daily because they are God's words that came forth from the mouths of the prophets.

What is the priesthood?

Eric
The priesthood is the authority that God gives to righteous men on earth. Essential, God has to give permission to we, his children, in order to do certain things. When man is disobedient, the Priesthood of God is removed from the earth. When man is righteous, God gives the priesthood to those who qualify for it. All male members of the Church who are prepared receive the priesthood in order to help lead the Church and serve Heavenly Father’s children. They lead the individual congregations of the church throughout the world. They preform ordinances, or rites that are necessary for the salvation of man, such as baptism. And they bless those who are in need of comfort or healing. Show more Show less
