Hi I'm Michael Liddle

I'm from Doncaster, England. I'm serving a mission for the Lord. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play football and other sports, listening to music and computer games. I'm from a family of 9, I've left Sixth Form with A levels in Maths, Physics, Biology and I.C.T. I'm currently serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I'm serving in the Florida, Tampa Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon becasue I have felt the spirit of our heavenly father confirm to me that; The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true and restored church upon the earth, I know that the church teaches the full and everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ, with the exact same teachings that Jesus taught when he lived on the Earth. It is through baptism and living the commandments that I can return to live with Heavenly Father again in eternal happiness. I know that the church has blessed my family and brings us closer together. I can live with them even after this life. I have given two years of my life to my Heavenly Father to help others to realise this is the true church and it's only through this church they too can receive eternal happiness. I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and came received a confirmation of it's truthfullness growing up and living it's teaching as well as I could. I came to know I needed to serve a mission for the church when I read Helaman 10: 3-5 in The Book of Mormon, which I too have felt the truth it contains when I have made time to read it with the intent to receive answers. It is through prayer and reading The Book of Mormon that people can know for themselves that it is the word of God. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

I am part of the YSA of Doncaster Ward, I attend church every sunday. I have been part of the YSA since I turned 18 and helped to organise activities for the YSA as YSA Representative before leaving for my mission. I have grew up in the church as a member of the church's youth. Many activities with the youth are amongst my favourite memories, I especially enjoyed youth event like Young Men's Camp and EFY. I always try to obey the commandments of my loving heavnly father, and strive to follow the example of his son Jesus Christ. I feel that serving others is a great way to bring happiness to yourself and others. I am serving a mission for the church to help to bring others unto Christ, to know he is our savior.
