Hi I'm Fran

I am a Texan, I am passionate about art, I love to run, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have been raised in Texas, and I love it here. The people are friendly and charitable. I played soccer in high school up in till a series of concussions kept me from athletic activity. The recovery was difficult and tried my patience, but I continue to heal and find that as a I have faith in the process I am blessed immensely.

Why I am a Mormon

Much of my family on my mom's side are not members of the church. They many times leave the impression that they think are beliefs are strange, however, from a young a age I knew my parents were not crazy. I recognized that. When I was at Girl's Camp, a week summer camp that allows teenage girls to strengthen their testimony of Christ, one year I recognized another truth. A young women spoke to us concerning being worthy for the temple. At that moment I strongly felt the desire to make my life follow the course it needed to take in order to place me in the Lord's house- the temple. Making that goal lead me to finding other truths along the way. With prayer and personal study I learned without shattering doubt and faith unshaken that the Gospel is restored and that my Heavenly Father loves me immensely. This love is why it is available to me and has inspired me to serve a mission for the church. A taste our Heavenly Father's love is divine, and to keep such knowledge from the others would be selfish.

How I live my faith

In my ward I am a Ward Missionary. I go on exchanges with the Sisters and invite others to listen to the Gospel. As of November 2013 I will be serving a 18 month mission in Moscow Russia.
