Hi I'm Brittany

Southern. Convert. Single. i love my life and I'm a Mormon. :)

About Me

Swimming, Reading, hanging out with friends and any churchy event i can get into all make me happy. i love people. i love learning. I'm an honor graduate in Medical Assisting and have worked doing everything from emergency medicine to private security. i'm 27, was raised Catholic, converted to Assembly of God in 2005, baptized into United Pentecostal/Apostolic in 2007. Divorced in 2008. Made a few questionable choices throughout the years that i would NEVER want my future children to know. Nothing filled the void and I always felt so hopeless. Started looking into different faiths in early 2012...everything from Buddhism to Mennonites. I finally threw my hands up and told Heavenly Father that if there was a true church, then He had to lead me to it because i was done searching in vain. I was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on October 20, 2012 and received confirmation of the Holy Ghost on October 21, 2012. By far, the best, most peaceful decision of my life. i have never been so sure of something as i am about this church. I'm a Mormon. I know it. I live it. and I LOVE IT!

Why I am a Mormon

Never have i ever in my life experienced more sacredness, holiness and the true, undeniable existence of our Heavenly Father. This church is about Hope. Love. Service. Grace. Joy. Family. There's more to this life than just what we can see. This church gives you answers. Truthful answers. I've never felt so loved, humbled and lifted up as i do in this church. It gives me the love and support of family that extends way beyond the people i grew up with. 2 Nephi 2:24-25 But behold, all things have been done in the wisdom of him who knoweth all things. Adam fell that men might be; and men are that they might have joy.

How I live my faith

Relief Society, of course. i'm not married, nor do i have any potential prospects. I don't have any children. All my life, all i've ever wanted was the to be a wife and a mother. i'm praying that will happen while i'm on Earth :)

What is faith?

"Faith is the evidence of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1 just concentrate on that. read it slowly. repeatedly. that's faith. Show more Show less

What is the Relief Society?

We're a group of women that get together as often as humanly possible. We talk, we visit, we teach each other. and most importantly, we give service to others. "the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world" Show more Show less

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

they will answer ANY question you have!!! if they don't have an answer right then, they WILL find the answer and get it to you as soon as possible. YOU are EXTREMELY important to them and especially to Heavenly Father and they will love you and treat you with the utmost respect. they are a vessel through which Heavenly Father uses to reach you. they won't force you into anything, they won't brainwash you and most importantly, they'll listen. they'll honestly listen and care about every word that you say. and they'll go back to their apartments, homes, and churches and will honestly pray for you. when you become a member of this church, you are adopted into a family.
