Hi I'm Megan

I am a runner. I am a Missionary. I am goofy and determined. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am the third child out of four in my family. I grew up in Utah for all my childhood with a loving family and I grew to enjoy sports such as basketball, soccer, track, and football. I was diagnosed with epilepsy when I was 4 but it didn't keep me from being afraid of doing the things I love. I love to play the piano and compose my own music, when I do have time. I am going to school to become a Registered Nurse. I love to go outdoors and go hiking and just relax in the mountains. I am currently serving as a missionary in New York to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others!

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? I am a Mormon because I know how much being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has helped me in my life. By being a member it has brought me so much happiness and joy even in the midst of pain and suffering. I have gone through many trials, as we all do, and will go through many more but by living the standards of the church and keeping the commandments I found happiness and peace amidst my pain and sorrow. The church has helped me gain a better knowledge of who Jesus Christ really is, and it has helped me become a truly better person than I was before. I know that the church is true because I have diligently searched for the truth in the Book of Mormon and the Bible and have pondered in my heart, prayed, and tested its teachings by living them. I have grown to the knowledge that it is good, and it is true. I know it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always trying to be a better person than what I was a day ago. I try to follow Christ's teachings everyday by forgiving everyone, loving everyone, and serving others. I live my faith, by having faith that although it may seem like I am going through a difficult time in my life, things will get better as I strive to do what's right. I try to continually keep the commandments. I live my faith by trusting in God's timing. Maybe I don't understand why I go through things but I know that it is for a reason. I live my faith, by what I said before, serving others. Losing yourself in the service of others, helping others, and making others happy is truly the best way to live.
