Hi I'm Craig

I am a Mormon. I am a business owner and a retired Army General.

About Me

I own a oil company and a chain of convenience stores in Utah and Idaho. I am a retired Army Major General with over 35 years of service. I lost my spouse to lung cancer 7 years ago and have been married to a widow for 5 1/2 years. Together we have 11 children (all married) and 44 grandchildren. Also served for 8 years on a major airport Board of Directors.

Why I am a Mormon

I find that by making my religion a part of everyday life I feel as though I am doing the things that my Father in Heaven would want me to do. To me, everything in the church makes sense and all falls into place as to what the true church of Jesus Christ would be. I find that my faith grows stronger as I live the teachings of Jesus Christ. I also feel that the Mormon church provides a great deal of service to their fellowmen and that gives me a better understanding of what Christ would have us do. I also believe that the Mormon church is the gospel of Jesus Christ that has been brought back to earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday. My faith is a way of life for me, my wife, my children, and grandchildren. I have served as leader of a congregation and am currently working with 18-30 year old single members of the church. I also serve on my church's Military Advisory Committee, which deals with issues facing military families of our faith. I also work with LDS Chaplains and the church organization in Afghanistan.
